Introduction to Instructional Design provides learners with a foundational understanding of instructional design, focusing on the widely-used ADDIE model. Learners are introduced to each phase of ADDIE—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—and are guided through how these phases come together to create effective and engaging learning experiences.


The course is structured into easy-to-follow modules that include a mix of videos, readings, and interactive quizzes. Learners will explore real-world examples of how instructional design is applied across various industries, from corporate training to education, and complete assignments designed to reinforce their knowledge.
